This is an exciting chance to photograph two great county cricket rivals as they go head-to-head in a one day 50 overs a side contest. The 50 over format provides the perfect balance for the photographer. It gives you get plenty of opportunity to capture both the batting and the bowling sides plus the excitement as extra risks are taken by both as each innings reaches it's climax. T20 can be too short, but the 50 over game is perfect for us. It also provides for plenty of time for me to shoot alongside you and pass on my 25 years of experience as a professional sports photographer. If you've never shot cricket before, don't worry. This day offers plenty of time for me to introduce you to all the techniques required to capture the great moment. And if you want to take your current cricket photography to a higher level this is a perfect day for that too.
The match takes place at the pretty Guildford Cricket Club, NOT at the Oval. The Guidlford CC ground is a great compact venue, meaning that super telephoto lenses are not needed and we can get unusually close to the action.
The course fee is keenly priced £239 and the numbers are strictly limited to allow myself to give as much one to one tuition as possible.
The previous cricket course I ran was hugely popular. Bookings for this course have to be booked through the Nikon School so please contact them directly to book your place.
