This is your chance to experience two or three of the most stunning days of sports photography possible, all taking place over one amazing long weekend in the Austrian Alps. 

 Friday 15th 

The world's best athletes will be competing in Igls in the Skeleton World Cup races. British Mens European Champion Matt Weston and Winter Olympic Bronze medal winning  Laura Deas will be competing on Friday. 

IGLS - The fastest Olympic winter sports happen on this ribbon of concrete, steel and ice that zigs-zags down at Igls. The best Skeleton racers will battle it out on what is one of the world’s toughest tracks.

Mens 2 Man Bobsleigh World Cup Race 

+ Womens Monobob Race

Sunday 17th

Mens 4 Man Bob Race 2 + 2 Women Bob Race.



The Mens 4 Man Bobsleigh race is the Blue Riband event of the Igls World Cup weekend. It is one of the most incredible sports you'll ever experience or photograph. It's simply sensational. The immense power, noise and colour of the Bobs are like nothing else as they approach 100mph on the course. 


Travel 

Direct flights to Innbsruck are regular with BA and Easyjet from London and are pretty cheap.  At the moment  Gatwick - Innsbruck  return is only £110.  You can also get an early evening direct BA flight back to Gatwick on Sunday evening. Innsbruck airport is VERY central, only 10/15 munites from the Bobsleigh track. 



Hotels

I have reserved several  rooms at a chosen 3/ 4* hotel near Igls which cost around £90-£100 per night for single occupancy inc breakfast. Rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis. 

The Bobsleigh track is about a 5/10 minute taxi ride from Igls town centre and the hotels.

Flights, hotels, meals and transfers are not included in the course fee.
